Mercoxit является очень плотной рудой, для добычи которой требуется специализированное оборудование для глубокого бурения. В ней содержится большой процент необычного минерала Morphite, и некоторое небольшое количество прочих минералов. Минимальный объём переработки составляет 250 единиц руды. Занимаемый обьем 40 m3   Также встречаются разновидности: Magma Mercoxit. Vitreous Mercoxit. При переработке получается 530 единиц Morphite. Необходимые навыки для добычи: Mining IV, Science IV, Astrogeology V, Mining V, Deep Core Mining Знаете ли Вы, что при молекулярном сжатии можно получить ещё варианты этой руды, такие как - Compressed Mercoxit, Compressed Magma Mercoxit и Compressed Vitreous Mercoxit. Там обьем уже достигнет 1000 m3. Но для этого Вам понадобится производственная линия промышленного корабля класса Rorqual, соответственно чертеж на конкретный вид руды и навыки: Industry I, Refining IV, Science III, Mercoxit Processing IV.
